My First Currently

My buddy and pal Elizabeth Hall over at Kickin' It In Kindergarten has been guiding my steps as a new blogger!  I was so naive at how many options there are to connect and simply how much you have to know!!!  Yesterday she told me... you must do this Linky.  I of course had no clue what she was talking about and like all good students had to google it!!!  So here I am... posting my first... and definitely not last in the blogger world!

I also want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Michelle from the 3 am teacher for designing my blog.  I think she is a full time designer, part time prophet.  I was so nervous about the design and the first thing she game up with was nothing short of BRILLIANT and she totally nailed it.  I cannot rave enough about her professionalism, creativity, and just friendly nature.  She really helped this new blogger get her sea bearings and for that I am ever indebted!!! Please go check out her GORGEOUS graphics and designs.

My school district was just given the gift of a snow day, so I am now going to go snuggle up with my friends, watch the Oscars, and work on a bigger blog post for this week that involves our recent country/economic reports!

Enjoy your Sunday evening!!!

  1. This was my first currently too! I have a friend who is guiding me along my way as well- what would we do without them, no? :) I am jealous that your Spring Break is only 2 weeks away- mine is 4! Yikes- but with all the snow days we have had (we are up to 13) it feels like we don't really deserve a break! We are supposed to get 4-8 inches here again tonight so I am guessing tomorrow will be #14! I look forward to exploring your blog more!

  4. I'm jealous of your 2 weeks until spring break... I have FIVE!! If we have any more snow days over here in NC we are going to lose our spring break, so we are all hoping for warmer weather. I'm a new blogger too, and a new follower of yours! I found you via March Currently.

  5. I am loving your blog design! It is adorable. I don't want to rub in the fact that I am preparing for Spring Break next week, but I know that some of those who keep having snow days actually want to get back to the classroom. I hope you all are staying warm!!

  6. Hi Sarah,
I love half marathons...haven't done one in years though since I almost shattered my tibia. :o( I still run but no more than 5 miles. Your blog is super cute! I'm your newest follower.

  7. You almost shattered your tibia?!? I would pass on half marathons as well! I am about to do my first and am excited... it's just trying to juggle everything in to get the actual training time so that I'm not huffing my way through the entire time! :) I loved your blog and will be busy this weekend pulling together some of your ideas in my class.
