April Currently- I'm on a Roll!

I am loving that despite all of the other things to do on my plate--- blogging is turning into a form of therapy and a healthy outlet!  :)  I am on a roll and going to do my second currently to link up with other bloggers.  Who am I turning into?!?

Today has been a day full of jest upon my unassuming students.  They don't know what to make of their desks and materials mysteriously moving around, the crayons glued to the carpet, the teacher rushing in "late" to class because she was so sick, analyzing an opera song where they sing like cats.  "We'll get you back they say."  Good luck my sweets!!!

We did our guided reading and literacy rotations outside today-- which was amazing soaking up the vitamin d--- but now I look and feel like Will Smith in Hitch.  Come and get it men!!! :)

Now back to lesson planning, grading, and attempting to mold the best minds!!! :)  I am going to do my best and get out to run today--- since that half marathon is just a few weeks a way now... and I'm turning a little soft.  I can't blame the weather anymore!!!  If you have any tips for this newbie runner/blogger please direct them my way!!! :)

    1. Our weather is a bit manic--- last week we had a giant snow storm!! Today has been the first real day of warmth! Sometimes its worth it to come to school in boots and then put the sandals on after!

  5. Congrats on getting your masters! I remember the pain and anguish it brought forth...haha...well not really. It was just a lot of work to get done especially while working full time. I was in Nashville during Thanksgiving and fell in love with the city!! It even snowed a little for me :)

    1. Ha! YES! everything for my program feels like climbing Mt. Everest now!!! I'm just ready to be done so even the little things feel huge!

I moved to Nashville on a whim a few years ago and it has been one of the best decisions I've made to date! I'm originally from the West- so the south is an adjustment for sure! I just saw you are from southern cal and probably could relate!!! I hope you come back and that it snows more for you!!! :)

  7. Love what the 3 am Teacher did for you. CUTE blog! Love finding your simple machines post as I blog hop this morning. Wish I could wear sandals, but here in Wisconsin there is still 2 feet of snow in my yard!
